Данас је, 29. марта 2016. године са почетком у 8:30 часова у Требињу одржана сједница Катихетског одбора Eпархија СПЦ са подручја Републике Српске и ФБиХ. Сједницом је предсједавао предсједник КО-а Његово Преосвештенство Епископ зворничко-тузлански г.г. Хризостом. Сједници су присуствовали сви чланови КО-а. На данашњој сједници Катихетски одбор је:
1) дефинитивно донио одлуку о прихваћеним рукописима за нове уџбенике Православне вјеронауке за Основне школе на бази једног часа за разреде од 2. (другог) до 8. (осмог) разреда, док рукопис уџбеника за 9. (девети) разред није прихваћен;
КО-р је одлучио рјешење за уџбеник 9. (деветог) разреда тражити путем позива.
2) дефинисао теме и предаваче за стручно савјетовање вјероучитеља за август мјесец 2016;
3) одлучио да хитно покрене питање рјешавања уџбеника вјеронауке на бази два часа седмично у Кантонима ФБиХ и Брчко дистрикта;
4) да на бази плана и програма за Средње школе покрене израду адекватних нових уџбеника;
5) да покрене дјечији часопис и др.
