На дан успомене Светитеља Саве, првог српског архиепископа и просветитеља, у маленом градићу Србцу, подно славне планине Мотајице, освећен је јединствени, у Српским земљама, кабинет Православне вјеронауке.

Овај велики празник који се прославља у свим крајевима гдје живе духовни потомци Светог Саве био је одличан повод за освећење и отварање овог јединственог кабинета. Послије Свете Божанствене Литургије која је служена у свим храмовима наше Цркве, освећени су славски колач и жито, уз пригодан културно-умјетнички програм, у част овог дивног Светитеља по свим школама у србачкој општини. А најсвечаније је било у Основној Школи „Јован Јовановић Змај“ гдје је, настојатељ манастира Осовица јеромонах Теофил (Димитрић) уз саслужење свештеникá Славка Дебељака и Славише Топића обавио освећење новонасталог кабинета Православне вјеронауке, као и освећења славског жита и колача. На самом почетку свечаности, послије светосавске химне коју је отпјевао школски хор, присутнима се обратио директор школе Верољуб Малетић нагласивши да је кабинет рађен по благослову Његовог Преосвештенства Епископа бањалучког господина Јефрема, а уз залагање бившег вјероучитеља јереја Далибора Поповића и великог броја добрих људи који су својим донацијама допринијели да кабинет буде опремљен најсавременијим училима, а опет да буде спона традиционалног и савременог.
На свештене прозбе и возгласе одговарао је школски хор. А по освећењу кабинета и славског жита и колача великом броју присутних у бесједи о Светом Сави обратио се јеромонах Теофил, између осталог истакавши: да су многи народи у својој историји имали значејне принчеве, али да ниједан народ није имао принца захваљујући ком је једна краљевска породица постала монашка света обитеља. Принца који је утврдио Небеске и вјечне темеље православних Срба и постао вјечни владара Небеске Србије удионе кнежевине Царства Небеског…
У богатом програму који су извели ученице ове основне школе у сарадњи са својим наставницима уживали су представници културног, политичког и привредног живота Општине Србац, те инспектор и просветни савјетник за вјеронауку Републичког педагошког завода мр Славољуб Лукић и многи други.
На празничном ручку, који је уприличен у просторијама школе присутнима су се обратили директор школе Верољуб Малетић, јеромонах Теофил (Димитрић), представници општине и свештеник Славко Дебељак.
